80. Porto Kagio/Kaap Tenaron
From about 300 m. high, a view over the peninsula with the highest peak on the right, Mount Skourka (314 m.), and just visible in the distance to the left is Cape Tenaron. The connection to Mesa Mani, only 500 m. wide, is hidden in this photo behind the dark green-covered slope in the bottom right. Behind that is the village and harbor of Marmari, left of center, and on the other side is the village of Porto Kagio. Cape Tenaron is the second southernmost point of the European mainland, located at 36°23' N (the southernmost is Punta de Tarifa in Spain, 36°00' N).
